What semi-absentee really means
It's the most chosen involvement level in the survey and the most misunderstood. What brands mean by it, and what it asks of you in the first year.
2 minute readBuyers ask why they can't see their matches the moment the survey ends. The answer is that a score without a conversation sends people to the wrong brands.

The survey ends and the natural next thing is to see the list. Your coach holds it back until you have talked, and buyers sometimes find that frustrating. Here is why we do it.
The survey asks what you can invest in ranges, because nobody wants to type an exact number into a website. That is fine for a first pass. It is not fine for deciding which brands you spend the next two months evaluating. Ten minutes on the phone gets your coach the real figure and, more often, the story behind it: the house sale that closes in March, the partner whose income covers the household, the retirement account you would rather not touch.
You picked "leave corporate work" and "semi-absentee". The score reads that as a buyer who wants a manager-run business. On the call it turns out you want out of corporate because you want to work with your hands, and you picked semi-absentee because you assumed that was the sensible answer. Those two buyers get different brands. Only one of them was in the survey.
Some brands score well for a lot of people and are wrong for most of them. We know which ones, because we have watched buyers go through them. That knowledge is not in a weight. It goes into the note your coach writes on every match they publish, and into the matches they do not publish.
A shorter list you can trust, with a note on each brand that says why it is there. The buyers who move fastest through evaluation are not the ones who saw the most matches. They are the ones who started with the right three.
Book the call from your dashboard. Bring the real numbers. Your coach will bring the list.
